Honestly wasn't sure this would do much but my 2.5 year old is obsessed. He pops a card in, hears the word, then tries to copy it. Took about a week and a half before I noticed him saying "dog" and "apple" properly on his own. The voice is clear and actually sounds normal, not that robotic rubbish you get with cheaper ones. Worth every cent.

Bought this hoping it'd buy me enough time to actually cook dinner without a meltdown, and it's delivered. My son sits at the bench feeding cards through it while I get stuff done, completely content. The repeat button is his favourite he'll play the same word ten times and crack up every time. Bonus that he's actually learning while he's at it. Wish I'd found it sooner.

I was getting so sick of handing over the iPad just to get five minutes peace. This has been a game changer for us. She sits there for ages putting the cards through and saying the words, completely independent, no flashing lights or noise overload. Calm is the right word for it. Her vocab has come along heaps and I don't feel guilty about it. Can't recommend enough.
